We are seeking an experienced midwife for an obstetrics department at a major hospital in Sweden. The operations have an established workflow with clear procedures and an experienced team, where the focus is on safe and secure care throughout the delivery process. This position is ideal for you if you want to work in a stable environment with good structure and the opportunity for continuity in your work. Responsibilities As a midwife in the obstetrics department, you are responsible for: - Independent management of normal deliveries - Monitoring of mother and baby during delivery - Identification and initial management of deviations - Support and guidance to the laboring person and family members - Collaboration with physicians, nursing assistants, and other team members - Documentation according to applicable guidelines Work Environment You work in a team with experienced colleagues where: - Clear procedures and workflows are established - Patient safety and quality are central aspects of the work - Communication and collaboration are prioritized in daily work Orientation is provided based on your experience to ensure a secure start. Scope and Structure - Scope: Full-time or part-time - Working hours: Day, evening, and night shifts according to schedule - Assignment period: By agreement with the possibility of extension - Start: By agreement Planning takes place in dialogue to create a sustainable arrangement.
