Do you want an important role where your expertise makes a difference every day? As a runway lighting technician at Åre Östersund Airport, you will work with operation, maintenance, and development of the airport's runway lighting systems and related equipment in an environment where technology and safety are in focus. What does the role entail? We are a strong operations and maintenance team consisting of seven colleagues at Åre Östersund Airport and together we work to ensure the facility functions properly so that aircraft can take off and land safely at our airport and to create an attractive environment for our customers and employees. As a runway lighting technician, you will perform inspection, installation, operation, and maintenance of Åre Östersund Airport's runway lighting systems and associated control systems. You are responsible for ensuring that tasks are performed in accordance with applicable maintenance plans and regulations. In addition to runway lighting work, property maintenance may also occur in your daily work. You will get to work on projects taking place at the airport and also be part of developing our unit. Work takes place during daytime with regular working hours. If needed, work beyond regular hours may occur. Who are you? We see that you have: Secondary education in electrical work or equivalent knowledge and experience acquired through working life. Experience with practical work in electrical installation. Good physical condition as the job requires heavy lifting and uncomfortable work positions. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Meritorious: Knowledge of control systems. Experience/familiarity with working with backup power systems. What do we offer you?
