Do you have hospitality in your blood and want to be part of delivering fantastic events with banquet service? Then this course is for you. About the Course: A free practical introductory course in banquet service focusing on large dinner events where a pre-ordered 3-course menu and beverages are typically served. During the course we cover: - Special diets - Table setting - Beverage service - Carrying technique (3 plates) and service techniques - Plate clearing and tray clearing - Alcohol laws The course runs on weekdays starting at 16:00 and lasts approximately 3 hours including a short break. This is a foundational course that after completion can lead to employment for various assignments. Our positions are aimed at students or those with another primary occupation. (Supplementary courses may be added) Who are you? You have a strong service personality and take instructions easily. We prefer that you have previous experience with similar work or in the service industry. You handle multiple tasks well and enjoy working in a team. You are punctual, thorough and flexible, and can work at a fast pace when needed. You radiate energy and contribute to a good work environment.
