Vattenfall Services is Sweden's leading contracting company in the energy and electrical power sector and we develop Sweden's energy infrastructure! The Station Department Borås/Skövde and Kungsbacka/Göteborg operates within the voltage range 0.4–400 kV with maintenance, projects, and troubleshooting in switchgear, control systems, and other electrical power equipment. Our customers are primarily industries and some major energy companies. As Department Manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, employees, work environment, and results for a department with approximately 25 employees. You lead the operation through project managers, service managers, project support staff, and electrical technicians and create conditions for safe, efficient, and profitable delivery. We are in an expansive phase with good opportunities for continued growth, and you will have an important role in developing both the operation and our business. Examples of Responsibility Areas Lead, coach, and develop employees and managers in the operation Ensure a good work environment and a strong safety focus Manage budget, forecasts, results, and operations monitoring Build long-term relationships with customers and identify new business opportunities Participate in procurements, bid work, and contract negotiations Drive improvement initiatives and develop work methods for increased quality and efficiency You report to the Business Area Manager Station South and are part of a management group together with ten fellow managers.
