As a security guard at Avarn Security, you'll have an exciting day-to-day role where your task is to strengthen our customers' sense of security and promote a safer environment. A security guard plays a central role in maintaining safety and security in various settings. Working hours: Varying Position location: Trollhättan & Uddevalla Duration: On-call employment, 6-month probation period applies Start date: By agreement Salary: According to collective bargaining agreement Qualifications Beyond the personal qualities we seek and describe, you need to meet basic requirements to be qualified for this position: Upper secondary school competence (minimum pass in Svenska 1) Good Swedish, spoken and written Driver's license category B VU1+VU2 passed Minimum 6 months of experience as a security guard To be eligible for the position, you must be at least 18 years old by your first day of employment. This requirement is based on the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2, chapter 8 and appendix 2, which restrict minors' ability to perform tasks in security-related activities. You must also be of good conduct*, drug-free, have sound finances, and be in good health and physical condition to be employed at Avarn Security. Security guard training and experience are customer requirements for these positions. Other meriting qualifications include experience working in the security industry, certain technical knowledge, additional language skills beyond Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments. * To be employed at Avarn Security AB, you must be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment at an authorized security company, in accordance with the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies. Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements according to respective legislation, a background check will be conducted.
