Work location: Växjö Duration: Full-time, permanent with a 6-month probationary period Start date: By agreement Salary: Salary group D according to collective agreement We are looking for an engaged and well-organized group leader for our night shift operations. In this role, you are responsible for the operational management during the night with a focus on work supervision, quality monitoring, and ensuring that operations are conducted according to applicable procedures and customer requirements. You serve as support for employees during the work shift and have a central role in leading, coordinating, and following up on daily work. As a group leader, you are responsible for creating structure, ensuring quality in delivery, and handling situations that arise during the night. The position is largely operational and includes rounds, alarm responses, supervision assignments, and quality checks. You monitor that tasks are completed according to instructions and actively contribute to maintaining high service levels and safety for our customers. The role also includes some administration and documentation related to operations, where you ensure that reporting and follow-up are conducted correctly. To succeed in this role, you are communicative, responsible, and confident in your leadership. You are comfortable making decisions, working independently, and simultaneously being a supportive leader for the team. Experience in leadership, coordination, or security operations is a merit. Qualifications Beyond the personal qualities we are looking for, you need to meet basic requirements to be qualified for the position: High school competence Good Swedish in speech and writing Driver's license category B To be considered for the position, you must be at least 18 years old by the employment start date. This requirement is based on the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2, chapter 8 and appendix 2, which restricts minors' ability to perform tasks within security and guard-related operations. You must also be of good conduct*, drug-free, have your finances in order, and be in good health and physical condition to be employed at Avarn Security. Meritorious qualifications include experience working in the security industry, certain technical skills, language skills in addition to Swedish and English, and previous experience working in public environments.
