Your tasks The position of Automatic Press Operator involves developmental and varied work. You work in the Automatic Press department, with responsibility for machine setup. You will have the opportunity to take full responsibility for the sheet metal forming process. Your work role includes everything from programming and operation to quality control of produced parts. In your work role, you play an important part in ensuring and are responsible for producing sheet metal parts in the best and most efficient way to the highest quality. This position involves following detailed planning according to the operating schedule and preparing documentation. You are responsible for carrying out quality inspections according to existing procedures. The work also consists of setting tools according to instructions, trial running tools for first-piece inspection and also performing final inspection. Daily supervision of existing equipment is also part of the work. Independently, you will report and register follow-up cards/work cards in the MPS system. Nitator uses Monitor as its business system. You will also be part of the ongoing improvement work in Nitator's production system Nips (Lean). Qualifications We are looking for someone with at least two years of experience working in the machine shop industry. You have post-secondary education in a technical field or equivalent work experience. Experience with blueprint reading, measurement techniques, and programming.
