We are looking for a driven Automation Technician who wants to join the team at ABECE! About the Company: ABECE is a small, international industrial company that develops and builds advanced machines and complete automated production lines for the manufacture of concrete roof tiles. The company develops the technology, machines, and control systems that customers around the world use in their production. With customers on the international market, ABECE works on exciting projects where automation, mechanical engineering, and industrial control systems are at the center. Now the company is seeking an Automation Technician who wants to become an important part of a tight-knit team and contribute to developing, installing, and commissioning the production solutions of the future. About the Position: You will have a varied and practical role in machine-related automation, where problem-solving and flexibility are important parts of your daily work. In the role, you will, among other things: Work with PLC and robot programming Work with motors and motor controls Work with sensors and industrial electrical automation Work closely with both machines and customers Contribute to the development and improvement of future production solutions The role is based in Nyköping but also involves travel to customers around the world. You can expect approximately 100 travel days per year, where you will work on installation, commissioning, and optimization of automated production lines. You don't need to know everything from the start. ABECE is primarily looking for a person with technical interest, drive, and a willingness to develop within automation. With the right attitude, you will have the opportunity to grow into the role and eventually become an experienced automation technician. We are looking for you who have: Valid driver's license Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written Post-secondary education in automation or equivalent work experience Approximately 2 years of experience in automation is a merit Knowledge of PLC programming, troubleshooting, and problem-solving Ability and willingness to travel approximately 100 days per year to customers in Europe and North America A strong technical interest, drive, and willingness to develop within automation Other: In this recruitment, ABECE is collaborating with Kraftsam Rekrytering och Bemanning.
