WORK DUTIES AT (Physician in Training) is an educational service! Training occurs through our internal educational program and opportunities to attend external courses. Training also happens through self-study, but primarily through daily clinical work under supervision at various clinics. You are expected to be part of the clinical daily routine and perform physician work in a way that meets the established objectives. You choose whether you want an 18 or 21-month AT placement after receiving an offer. If you choose 21 months of AT, there is room for 8 weeks of elective placements at a clinic of your choice or 12 weeks of research time (Research-AT). Please ask us why we recommend 21-month AT! Regardless of the length of your AT block, you will initially receive a comprehensive two-week introduction followed by scheduled teaching sessions each week. In addition to your clinic supervisors, you have a mentor who follows you and your AT group throughout your entire AT service. You also receive 10 study days to use for relevant external courses, conferences, self-study, and AT exams. On-call - in all placements, you should expect to participate in the primary on-call line, which gives you the opportunity to work more independently while having close access to a competent licensed physician colleague. QUALIFICATIONS A medical degree and approved background check are required for employment. Prior work experience as a junior doctor before and after graduation is an asset, preferably in Region Kronoberg. Other relevant higher education, research qualifications, and a doctoral degree are also assets. Other forms of previous employment and education in Region Kronoberg are also favorable. If you have a foreign medical degree, a decision from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare regarding AT according to their procedures is required, as well as Swedish language skills at C-level. As an AT physician, you have the ability to organize and plan your work well and handle stress constructively. It is also important that you are unpretentious in your approach, collaborate easily with others, and find solutions to emerging problems. Salary form: Monthly salary.
