Centralsjukhuset (CSK) is northeastern Scania's acute care hospital. We provide qualified acute care services 24/7 and employ over 2,000 staff members. The hospital is large enough to provide comprehensive training while remaining small enough for you as an AT physician to actively participate and become an important part of our team! 14 position(s). WORK DUTIES We are seeking 14 AT physicians with start dates on March 1st and May 31st. Interviews will be held October 5-7. Two of these positions may be filled as Research-AT, contingent on a sufficient number of qualified applicants. Otherwise, they will be filled as regular AT positions. Research-AT involves active research work for six months in addition to clinical service. Research should be conducted at the Scania Northeast Hospital administration, SUS, or Lund University. More information about Research-AT can be found at: https://www.skane.se/jobb-och-utbildning/tjanstgoring-praktik-och-utbildning/tjanstgoring/at--allmantjanstgoring-for-lakare/forskar-at/ Over 18 months, we aim to provide you with strong clinical competence. The available time is distributed as follows: 4.5 months in operative specialties, 4.5 months in internal medicine. Service in acute somatic emergency departments during the first 9 months occurs partially under acute clinic supervision (daytime/evening) and also as structured surgical and medical rotations during respective service periods (nights/weekends). Additionally, 3 months of psychiatry at CSK and 6 months of general medicine at one of the primary care centers in our catchment area are included. Overall orientation and ongoing theoretical training are provided in Kristianstad. Trauma training, acute care training, courses on sick leave certification practices, and various thematic days are examples of the competency development we offer. Participation in reflection groups during AT is mandatory. All AT physicians are offered participation in the region's AT conference at Ystad Saltsjöbad. To ensure your AT service is well-planned and effective, a team consisting of an AT director, overall study director, and administrative support is available to you. In addition, each clinic has an AT-responsible physician and a personal mentor who ensure you receive good guidance. Our primary task during your service is to provide you with strong clinical competence aligned with the objectives. Our AT physicians fulfill an important function in healthcare.
