We are now seeking personal assistants for a customer who lives in Kristinehamn.
The customer is a 28-year-old woman with Down syndrome and severe developmental disability. She requires personal assistance around the clock and can never be left alone. She needs help with everything, including toilet visits. Together we cook, bake, maintain the home, go for walks, and more. Double staffing occurs.
About the Job as a Personal Assistant
As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the person both in everyday life and during leisure time. Your workplace is where the customer is located, and your tasks essentially involve assisting the customer so they have the conditions to live the life they wish.
Duties
Your duties depend on the customer's needs and lifestyle. They can range from personal hygiene, assistance with transfers, housework, cooking, to assisting the customer with activities outside the home.

At Särnmark, you will always receive an introduction with the customer and have access to training in the role of personal assistant.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to demonstrate that you have permanent residence in Sweden in order to be employed at Särnmark.
