About ASIH Tyresö/Söderort ASIH Tyresö/Söderort is a small healthcare provider delivering advanced home healthcare services on behalf of Region Stockholm since 2015. We operate in area three with a catchment area covering Tyresö, Haninge, Huddinge, Botkyrka, and Nynäshamn. We work in a small multidisciplinary team consisting of physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapist/lymph therapist, occupational therapist, dietitian, and counselor. The team is characterized by commitment and job satisfaction with a focus on proximity to patients and their families. To maintain high competence, we conduct internal training at the unit and are supportive of external education. We employ a reflective approach in our daily team dialogues to foster a learning organization. We care for seriously ill patients in their homes around the clock. The most common diagnoses are cancer at various stages, multiple chronic conditions, COPD, and heart failure. Patients may be in curative, palliative, or terminal care phases. Some patients end their lives at home. We also admit patients with short care periods, such as those undergoing infection treatment. Patients are primarily referred from major hospitals in Stockholm but also from primary care. We have well-established collaboration with oncology clinics. We use Take Care for documentation. Wellness benefit: 1 hour/week Collective agreement Supervision by external supervisor Who are you? Are you a junior doctor or licensed physician interested in learning more about palliative care? You will work in direct patient care as part of the multidisciplinary team with support and guidance from an experienced specialist physician. The role includes medical assessment and symptom management encompassing home visits, medication adjustments, communication with hospital colleagues, and conversations with family members, among other responsibilities.
