For fifteen years, Genero has supported the public sector with qualified consultants and interim solutions within finance functions. During this time, we have built a reputation as a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and long-term partner – and now we want to expand. Our growth is driven by a clear need in the sector: competent financial professionals who can strengthen public organizations undergoing change, ensure quality, and contribute to public benefit. We are now seeking an archivist for a two-year assignment with one of our clients. You will be employed by Genero but will work on-site at the client's location. You will work full-time, 40 hours per week, with the opportunity to work part of the time remotely and part of the time at the client's office on Kungsholmen in Stockholm. Job Responsibilities: The assignment involves organizing, cleaning, culling, and cataloging an entire archive of approximately 2,300 shelf meters of documents in parallel with several colleagues. You will be responsible for the entire process of preparing materials for delivery. The archive sections relevant to your work are extensive. The assignment makes significant demands on your ability to work independently, adapt to the client's digital work methods, communicate and interact with the client's operational departments, and maintain a results-focused approach. Requirements for the Position: You must hold a university degree comprising at least 60 higher education credits in archival science, or alternatively at least 40 credits under the older credit system. You must have at least four (4) years of professional experience in organizing and cataloging archives. You must have at least three (3) years of documented work experience in organizing and cataloging analog archives (paper archives). You must have at least one (1) year of documented professional experience in archival work within public administration, where the work has included application of the Archives Act, the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, as well as RA-FS or equivalent regulatory framework. Experience from at least one (1) assignment where you have held independent responsibility for archival work, such as delivery preparation, development of archival formation plans, archive structure, or similar. Does this sound like an assignment that could be right for you? If so, please send a current CV and a brief description of how you meet the requirements for the assignment to [email protected] Selection is ongoing and positions may be filled before the application deadline expires.
