About the Role ArkivIT is now recruiting consultants with a particular interest in electronic archives and development. You should have a background as an archivist/e-archivist. Within the e-archive team, we work with implementation, development, and management of electronic archiving systems, encompassing everything from preliminary studies, requirements analysis, functional specifications, implementation, and system decommissioning. To accomplish this, we need both (e-)archivists, systems developers, and project managers. An e-archivist may also have assignments that do not include e-archive work but rather more traditional archival work with paper archives. Our clients are primarily in the public sector and can range from municipalities to larger government agencies, but they are also represented in the private sector, mainly in banking and finance. You work closely with clients, both on-site and remotely, depending on the nature of the assignment. Qualifications We are looking for you who have: University education in archival science with a minimum of 60 credits or equivalent higher-level education Several years of experience as an archivist, e-archivist, IT-archivist, or equivalent role Fluent spoken and written Swedish Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, we see that you: have an interest in development and digitalization are proactive and solution-oriented collaborate well and thrive in a team communicate clearly and pedagogically are flexible, responsive, and confident in the consultant role We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your willingness to develop with us.
