Storvik Din Health Center currently has approximately 25 employees and provides primary care including physician clinics, district nurse clinics, nursing assistant clinics, child health services at the family center, psychosocial team, occupational therapy, health educators, physical therapy, and home visits. We offer specialist clinics for conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. All staff members are highly engaged and participate in developing our operations. Good atmosphere and excellent collaboration among all professional categories characterize our workplace. We currently have approximately 6,000 registered patients, a number that is growing. We are centrally located in Storvik with excellent transportation connections by both bus and train—only 25 minutes from Gävle and 37 minutes from Falun. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES We are now seeking an engaged occupational therapist who wants to develop with us. As an occupational therapist with us, you will work with: • Assessment of activity capacity in consultation with the patient and need for rehabilitation measures • Assessments, prescription of assistive devices, fitting, and follow-up according to the prescription process • Memory evaluations as a complement to district nurse and physician assessments/investigations • Formulate statements in matters regarding home adaptations and applications for personal assistance • Monitoring assistive device costs and rental responsibilities • Patient education and counseling • Individual treatment in close collaboration with other professionals • Assessments and occupational therapy interventions in the patient's home.
