Trelleborg Habilitation Services is divided into three teams: one team focused on adults and two teams focused on children and youth. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We work person-centered with the goal that each patient receives support for a functioning and meaningful daily life. As an occupational therapist, you are responsible for the occupational therapy perspective in the team and provide support, advice, and education based on the patient's disability and how it affects daily life. Interventions can also be directed toward the patient's network and surrounding personnel. In this role, you will assess needs and implement interventions that strengthen the patient's activity capacity and participation in daily life. Planning is conducted in close collaboration with the patient and their network. You work closely with colleagues within the operation and external partners, contributing your specific expertise. The work also includes assessment, prescription, and follow-up of assistive devices. Interventions can be provided individually or in groups, as well as digitally or physically. Together with physiotherapists and speech-language pathologists, you are also responsible for patient follow-up within the quality registers CPUP and MMCUP. You will be an important part of the team's work in creating good and safe care for patients. Upon employment, you will receive introduction and mentoring from experienced occupational therapy colleagues both at the unit and in the area, who provide support in daily work. Travel is part of the position, and a service vehicle is available. Working hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 08.00–16.30, Tuesday from 08.00–18.30, and Friday from 08.00–14.30. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you to be a licensed occupational therapist with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency at a minimum level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is required. Additionally, a category B driver's license is required. Since bathing may occur for our patients, swimming ability is also required. Previous experience working in habilitation is meriting. To thrive with us, you are collaborative, flexible, self-directed, and able to handle situations when the pace is occasionally high. You also have good ability to organize and structure your work. The work requires curiosity and understanding of patients who rarely function according to norms. This requires adaptations in work methods and perspective-taking, and your ability to create individual and creative solutions to problems based on patients' circumstances.
