Habiliteringscenter Södertälje Adult Services is seeking an occupational therapist Stockholm County Healthcare Area, Rehabilitation and Health Would you like to join us and grow as a newly graduated or experienced occupational therapist? At Habiliteringscenter Södertälje, we work with adolescents and adults with functional disabilities. We work interprofessionally in teams that include occupational therapists, psychologists, social workers, physiotherapists, and speech-language pathologists. We serve residents of Salem, Södertälje, and Nykvarn municipalities. Through counseling, support, and treatment, we create conditions for patients to function at their very best in their daily lives. We specialize in intellectual disability (ID), autism (ASD), and mobility impairment (MI). We are now seeking an occupational therapist for our ID/MI team. Job Responsibilities As an occupational therapist with us, you will assess patients' abilities and needs, plan treatment interventions, implement them, and issue certificates when needed. For example, you will provide advice, support, information, and knowledge about functional disabilities to patients and their loved ones. Together with patients and their families, you will develop strategies and, when necessary, trial, prescribe, and follow up on individually adapted assistive devices. Rehabilitation services are offered both individually and in groups, physically at the clinic, digitally, by phone, in the patient's immediate environment when needed, or at another appropriate location. Work is conducted individually but also in collaboration with team colleagues, family members, or networks. Coordinating with other healthcare providers, municipal services, or authorities is part of the work, as our patients may have needs requiring such collaboration. We place great emphasis on professional development and offer a well-structured introductory period, specific introductory training, further in-depth staff training, as well as collegial support, collaboration, and access to case supervision. You are a licensed occupational therapist, and it is an advantage if you have experience with rehabilitation and/or persons within our target group, as well as with the prescription process.
