Since we work with individuals who have congenital or acquired disabilities and live in residential facilities with special support and services, you'll experience varied workdays and tasks that invite your creative abilities. No patient is the same, and you'll work closely with care staff who know the patient in their daily life, together supporting and creating wonderful adaptations that strengthen the patient's independence and quality of life. In our interprofessional team, there are several occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses who work with the same residential facilities and activities as you. Currently, we're geographically based at Förstamajgatan, Kortedala, but starting in spring 2027, we'll move to beautiful new facilities in Gamlestaden. There we'll bring together all healthcare in Northeast from today's two offices into one shared location. It's a merit if you have experience working with patients with functional disabilities, for example as a support assistant. Similarly, if you have experience in neurology or rehabilitation. Your role includes documentation in various digital systems, so it's important that you have good computer skills. You also need good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, to be able to adapt communication and information to the situation and the patient's needs. Since we work across a large geographical area, a B-class driver's license and good driving experience are a requirement. Since the work as an occupational therapist with us is independent, you have the ability to make decisions within the scope of your assignment or consult with your colleagues to move forward.
