About the Role
As an occupational therapist at Active Rehab Göteborg, you'll be an important part of a larger multidisciplinary team consisting of engaged occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and speech-language pathologists with many years of experience. The clinic is centrally located in Gothenburg with bright, modern facilities and has high accessibility and a strong patient focus.

With us, you'll work broadly within different areas of occupational therapy with a main focus on neurological rehabilitation. You'll also work to some extent with patients within the regular primary care mission.
Your tasks at the clinic will include:
Neurological rehabilitation, team-based approach within the neuro care team assignment
Hand training and hand rehabilitation
Assessment, mapping, and training of cognition
Daily balance and activity assessment
Assistive device prescription and functional assessment
Home visits and home adaptation
Support patients in training within the scope of self-care
Collaborate with and support other healthcare providers internally and externally
To some extent, lead groups and information sessions for patients.
Based on the clinic's needs, you'll also have the opportunity to work in Joint Academy's digital care platform. Here you'll offer video and chat consultations, evaluate patients' needs, and develop customized treatment plans – which offers a dynamic and flexible work environment where you have the opportunity to work in a digital-physical hybrid manner.
The position is primarily a full-time employment with immediate start, but we also welcome you if you're interested in working part-time.
Who Are You?
You are a licensed occupational therapist
It is meriting if you have work experience within neurological rehabilitation, with further education at an advanced level of 15 higher education credits within neurology
As a person, you are thorough, responsible, and structured in your work, and enjoy working at the slightly faster pace of primary care
You are flexible, open to change, and can quickly adapt to new situations
You are patient, listen actively, and communicate effectively
You enjoy and want to learn to work digitally and see the opportunities with hybrid care
You have good proficiency in both spoken and written Swedish and English
