Work Tasks As an occupational therapist in hand surgery, you work with assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with hand injuries and hand surgical conditions. You collaborate closely with hand surgeons, physiotherapists, and other professionals in a multidisciplinary team. The work includes, among other things, individual rehabilitation following hand surgical procedures, training programs, orthosis fabrication, patient education and counseling, and collaboration with internal and external healthcare providers. The position also includes supervising students, which means you contribute to development and learning within the operations. Qualifications We are looking for you if you are a licensed occupational therapist and have an interest in hand surgery and specialized rehabilitation. You are independent, responsible, and have good collaboration skills as well as a professional and empathetic manner. Experience in hand surgery is desirable but not required. About the Operations The Health Professions Operations Area is a newly established regional clinic.
