The position is located at the Urban Development Administration, which works on municipality-wide issues such as strategic and physical planning, authority enforcement within environmental and construction matters, and regional development. The administration also has overall responsibility for the municipality's technical infrastructure including waste and sanitation, water and wastewater, roads, and parks. The administration works on behalf of the Municipal Executive Board and the Urban Development Committee. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As work supervisor for the Water and Wastewater Unit, you hold a key function in our technical organization. You are "the spider in the web" between daily operations, strategic functions, and the Water and Wastewater Manager. You are responsible for planning, leading, and following up on daily work together with our operational technicians and subcontractors, and for ensuring that resources are used efficiently based on the municipality's needs. • Daily work supervision for Water and Wastewater Unit personnel within operations and maintenance • Resource planning based on assignments, annual schedule, and ongoing projects • Serve as a connecting link between operational activities, strategic personnel, and the Water and Wastewater Manager • Be responsible for planning and coordination of emergency measures and planned maintenance work • Participate in follow-up of work orders, costs, and quality • Assist in developing procedures, working methods, and documentation • Participate in procurement and collaboration with contractors and suppliers You work closely with the Water and Wastewater Manager and contribute with input for budgets, operational planning, and reporting. The role has a clear people-oriented aspect and you are expected to be present in the operations and create a good work environment. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: • Several years of experience within water and wastewater operations or related technical activities. • Previous experience in work supervision or a coordinating role. • Good ability to plan, structure, and prioritize resources. • Technical knowledge within water and wastewater systems. • Good computer skills and experience working with digital systems, e.g., work order systems. • Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. • Driver's license category B It is meritorious if you have: • Experience from municipal operations or contract operations within water and wastewater. • Knowledge of work environment, leadership, and contract law. • Vocational or higher education within water and wastewater, engineering, or equivalent. You are a confident and communicative leader who enjoys having many contact points and a high pace. You are solution-focused, clear in your communication, and have an unpretentious approach. You have an easy time creating structure and enjoy keeping the whole operation together. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-10-19 or by agreement.
