Would you like to be part of developing the future of signal technology in the railway industry? Are you an engaged leader who thrives at driving projects from start to finish? Then the role of Signal Work Supervisor at NRC Group might be perfect for you!
About the Role
As a Signal Work Supervisor, you will be a central part of an engaged team driving exciting and challenging railway projects. You will lead signal technical work from planning through execution and follow-up, and collaborate closely with the site manager to ensure that projects are executed according to the company's processes and methods.
You are responsible for personnel and work environment and create engagement and motivation in your team. The role also gives you the opportunity to participate in bid work and subsequently lead the projects you have calculated. When needed, you will also provide technical support in the field.
Your role includes, among other things:
Planning and taking responsibility for daily production
Continuous customer contact and financial responsibility for your area of production
Personnel responsibility for the technicians on the team
Motivating and guiding the team in carrying out the work
Ensuring that work is performed in accordance with applicable requirements and obligations
Working with work preparations where risk assessments, resource planning, booking of internal resources and equipment, and procurement of external services are some examples
Deviation management, implementation of corrective measures, and suggestions for improvement measures
Travel is a natural part of the position; on-call duty may occur. You will typically work from home but work on projects across Sweden and report to the Technical Project Manager.
Are You the Right Fit?
To be successful in this role, we are looking for you with experience as a signal technician. You should also demonstrate experience leading groups (without requirement for personnel responsibility), good computer skills, and financial awareness. It is meritorious if you have experience with budgeting.
We place great importance on your personal qualities. We are looking for a person with potential to develop as a leader, which means you can set clear goals, motivate others, and support your colleagues in their development. You are a person who takes initiative and makes things happen. You are responsible, a team player, and committed to being part of our journey forward. Flexibility is also important to adapt to different projects and situations.
You need to be able to communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and a B driver's license is a requirement.
