Engaged Activity Coordinator, LSS

About the role
Individkraft operates day services for individuals covered by category 1 within LSS. We work primarily with creative activities such as crafts, art, music, gaming and data/media. In addition to this, we offer wellness activities in various forms.
In this role you will plan and carry out activities with participants both in groups and individually. Together you will create a positive environment for meaningful and developmental engagement and an enjoyable social setting.
You will work in a supportive, coaching and motivating manner to guide and help participants work toward their individual goals. The work requires that you are good at motivating and inspiring and finding creative solutions.
You will also provide support during activities, where you will "pick up on" those individuals who need extra staff support to complete their tasks. You will also work with people with various disabilities and provide practical support with ADL, such as personal hygiene, dressing and meals.
About you
We are looking for someone with a secondary school education in healthcare, preferably with a focus on disability or another education that the employer considers equivalent. Alternatively, you could have post-secondary education within one of our areas of activity.
You should feel confident in your role and have at least 3 years of experience working with this target group. You should feel comfortable handling challenging behavior. If you have knowledge in one or more of our activities, such as crafts, wellness, data/media, gaming, art or music, that is a great advantage.
It is meritorious if you have pedagogical training and training in communication, for example TAKK.
An important part of your work is maintaining social documentation. It is therefore necessary that you have a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written.
You feel comfortable working independently and can be flexible based on our participants' wishes and needs. You are unpretentious, curious, have a positive attitude and enjoy collaborating. You thrive when there is a lot happening and find it easy to prioritize. You need to have the ability to listen and understand other people's situations and have good empathetic abilities. You enjoy working in a structured, quality-conscious and solution-focused manner based on each participant's individual needs.

You see the value in watching others grow and you have genuine empathetic and sympathetic abilities and have a low-affect approach when needed.
