We are now seeking temporary hourly workers for Camp Nova, our daily activity program within LSS (Swedish disability support system). At Camp Nova, each day is varied and no two days are quite alike. We work based on each participant's individual circumstances, interests, and needs, and together we create activities that feel meaningful, developmental, and fun. The Support, Care and Welfare Administration is organized into two operational areas: disability support and elderly care. Our core mission is to provide care, nursing, and rehabilitation to seniors and to offer support and services to people with disabilities. With nearly 800 employees, we work around the clock to ensure high quality and dignified treatment in every interaction. 2 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a temporary hourly worker in our daily LSS activity program, you provide support, motivation, and guidance to people with various disabilities. The goal is to strengthen each individual's independence, participation, and well-being through meaningful activities. You will, among other things: • Support participants in their daily activities based on individual needs. • Contribute to creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment. • Document according to applicable procedures. • Collaborate with regular staff and follow implementation plans. QUALIFICATIONS To work as a temporary hourly employee with us, you need to be flexible and able to step in on short notice, as well as meet the following requirements: • Be at least 18 years old. • Have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written (due to documentation requirements). • Have appropriate education in social work, education, or care and welfare. • Have the ability to treat people with respect, patience, and engagement. • Possess good collaboration skills and the ability to work independently. • Have an understanding of professional boundaries and working based on participants' needs. We are looking for someone who is confident and stable in interactions with people, has a positive attitude, and finds it easy to build relationships. You are flexible, solution-focused, and responsive to individual needs. It is an asset if you have experience working with people with disabilities, knowledge of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), and a driver's license. If you also have practical or creative skills, feel free to tell us about them in your application! Perhaps you enjoy carpentry, painting, creating, gardening, washing and maintaining cars, or have some other skill or hobby that you think could be useful to us. The most important thing is not exactly what you can do, but that you enjoy sharing your knowledge and doing things together with others. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. To be eligible for employment in care and welfare, you must provide a valid criminal record check for "Work with elderly or adults with disabilities" along with the accompanying suspicion register excerpt. These can be ordered at www.polisen.se (not older than 6 months). Interviews are held on an ongoing basis. Employment type: Fixed-term contract. Duration: 11 days - 3 months, Start date: Start date by agreement.
