Our Mission Within the Coordinated Support operational area, we provide coordinated services to job seekers and employers to shorten the time to lasting employment and sustainable recruitment. The work also includes preventing incorrect payments and crimes against the welfare systems. We meet job seekers with significant support needs and employers who want to broaden their recruitment and see opportunities to hire people with significant support needs. The work is based on our local anchoring and knowledge of the labor market. Our Workplace We are looking for employment advisors for our offices in Stockholm County at the following locations: Norrtälje, Sollentuna, Solna, Kista, Globen, Nacka, Haninge, Huddinge, Hallunda, and Södertälje. Job Description As an employment advisor within Coordinated Support, you work in-depth with job seekers who need individual and often long-term support to enter or remain on the labor market. The work takes place primarily through in-person meetings and in close cooperation with employers, authorities, and other actors to coordinate services based on the individual's needs. You also work with employers based on competency supply needs and support them in broadening their recruitment. As a state employee, you must have good knowledge of the provisions in laws and other regulations, requirements, and expectations that you need to follow in your daily work. You often have a high degree of independence in your work and need to be able to make wise assessments and judgments when it comes to applying regulations. An important part of the assignment is to inform about the Swedish Public Employment Service's services as well as rights and responsibilities, and provide support on the path to work. You also handle incoming inquiries by phone from both job seekers and employers with significant support needs. To succeed in the role, you work in a structured manner and are confident in interpreting and applying laws and regulations. You document in a legally secure way, act professionally when meeting with people, and can navigate multiple systems simultaneously. The assignment includes conducting investigative, guiding, and sometimes complex conversations and working toward set goals. Some of our new employees will work with the SIUS (Special Introduction and Follow-up Support) focus. SIUS is a program for job seekers with disabilities who need individual support to find, get, or keep a job. The work involves close cooperation with employers in both the private and public sectors, often at workplaces, which sometimes may require transportation in a company vehicle. The work is intensive and dynamic, and you need to be flexible, able to prioritize, and drive processes forward. As a SIUS employment advisor, you are the engine in processes where your initiative makes a difference. Your employment will begin with an introduction that gives you good conditions to succeed in your role as a state official. Our Offer The position is a permanent full-time employment beginning with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. The placement locations are: Norrtälje, Sollentuna, Solna, Kista, Globen, Nacka, Haninge, Huddinge, Hallunda, and Södertälje. Basic Requirements for the Position University/higher education degree of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the previous system) Or Have been employed as an employment advisor at the Swedish Public Employment Service and are assessed to have good conditions to meet today's requirements for employment advisors And At least two years of work experience, accumulated work of at least 50 percent over a total of two years Very good knowledge of Swedish Additional Merits for the Position Experience with and knowledge of cooperation with other actors, such as authorities, municipalities, partners, and employers Work experience in interpreting and applying regulations Work experience in guidance and coaching Experience working with people with disabilities The state values guide us in our daily work.
