Our Mission Within the Coordinated Support operations area, we provide coordinated services to job seekers and employers to shorten the time to sustainable employment and sustainable recruitment, as well as to prevent incorrect payments and crimes against the welfare system. We meet job seekers with significant support needs and employers who want to broaden their recruitment, based on our local presence and knowledge of the labor market. Our Workplace The current unit operates in Kalmar, Oskarshamn and Västervik and consists of approximately 130 employees. Job Description As an employment advisor within Coordinated Support, you work in-depth with job seekers who need individual and often long-term support to enter or stay in the labor market. The work takes place primarily through in-person meetings and in close cooperation with employers, authorities and other actors to coordinate services based on the individual's needs. You also work with employers based on competency supply needs and support them in broadening their recruitment. An important part of the assignment is to inform about the Swedish Public Employment Service's services as well as rights and obligations, and to provide support on the path to employment. You also handle incoming cases via telephone from both job seekers and employers with significant support needs. To succeed in the role, you work in a structured manner and are confident in interpreting and applying laws and regulations. You document securely, act professionally in meeting with people and can navigate multiple digital systems simultaneously. The assignment includes conducting investigative, advisory and sometimes complex conversations as well as working toward set goals. Some of our new employees will work with the SIUS (Special Introduction and Follow-up Support) focus. SIUS is a program for job seekers with disabilities who need individual support to find, obtain or retain employment. The job involves close cooperation with employers in both the private and public sectors, often at workplaces, which requires transportation in a service car. Your employment will begin with an introduction that gives you good conditions to succeed in your role as a civil servant. Our Offer The position is a permanent full-time employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. The placement location is Kalmar. Basic Requirements for the Position University/college education of at least 180 credits (120 credits according to the previous system) Alternatively You have been employed as an employment advisor at the Swedish Public Employment Service and are assessed to have good conditions to meet today's requirements for employment advisors As well as At least 2 years of work experience, accumulated work of at least 50 percent over a total of 2 years Very good knowledge of Swedish Driver's license (Category B) Other Merits for the Position Experience of and knowledge about cooperation with other actors, such as authorities, municipalities, cooperation partners and employers Work experience in interpreting and applying regulations Work experience from guidance and coaching Experience working with people with disabilities Previous experience of working according to SIUS methodology The state's core values guide us in our daily work.
