We are looking for an engaged Work Manager for Mälardalen North with Uppsala as the office location. Peab Byggservice AB is a well-established company in the region. You will be part of Region Mitt and report to the Regional Manager. Your geographic area is Uppsala, Västerås, and Gävle with surrounding areas as your primary market. You will be part of the management team for Region Mitt. We work with highly varied projects, including renovations and extensions, insurance matters, repair work, office adaptations, and kitchen installations ranging from 1000 kronor up to 50 million kronor. We have multiple framework agreements and national customer agreements, with one of our strengths being that we operate throughout the country. Another characteristic of us is that we often perform work in occupied environments and in ongoing operations, which places high demands on our flexibility and customer service level. As a Work Manager, you are genuinely interested in leading by being a good role model for others, while developing business and gaining market share is your main focus. We believe you are engaged and business-driven while also being a clear, reliable, and down-to-earth leader. The operations range from contract work to renovation and extension projects. Your main responsibilities as Work Manager include: • Ensuring a safe and secure work environment at our worksites • Being responsible for leading and developing employees both individually and in teams • Organizing and allocating the right competence to ensure quality and delivery • Always striving for satisfied customers, profitability, and high quality • Developing customer relationships in your geography and creating business opportunities • Ensuring that operations follow Peab's main processes • Being responsible for budget and results for your work manager group Who are you? You have experience from positions with business and personnel responsibility. You are market-oriented and driven by maintaining existing and creating new customer relationships. As a person, you are clear, trustworthy, and down-to-earth. You have good communication skills and your leadership is clear, present, and inspiring. It is important that you have strong commitment to the business and a drive that allows you to achieve your goals. Good computer skills and a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish are prerequisites for the position. A driver's license is required as business travel is part of the assignment. We would like to see that you have technical education at university level or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience and professional development.
