About the Job We're looking for engaged Fritidsbanken staff for hourly positions. Do you have an interest in service, physical activity, and helping others get started with an active leisure time? Are you also handy and enjoy working with sports and outdoor equipment? Then this might be for you! Fritidsbanken is like a library - but for sports and leisure equipment. Here, people can borrow equipment for an active leisure time, such as balls, soccer shoes, tents, riding helmets, and skates. Everything is free and accessible to everyone. This way, more people can be active without having to own their own equipment or pay high rental costs - something that's good for both the wallet and the environment. You will have an important role in creating a welcoming and inspiring environment for visitors and contribute to making Fritidsbanken a natural meeting place for movement and activity. Work Tasks As an hourly employee at Fritidsbanken, you will focus on our customers and help them find the right equipment. As a staff member at Fritidsbanken, you'll have a varied role where you work practically in the store, conduct outreach, and contribute to developing the activities. The work includes, among other things: Receiving and guiding visitors in the store Inspiring movement and new activities Receiving, assessing, repairing, and preparing equipment Registering and managing loans in the system Outreach activities Who Are You? We're looking for someone who is service-oriented, enjoys working with people, and is driven by customer satisfaction. You have a positive attitude and take responsibility. We expect you to have a pleasant demeanor, be flexible, and easy to collaborate with. To be a good fit for the position, we'd like to see that you have: Experience from retail or customer-facing work is an advantage You're handy and comfortable fixing and maintaining equipment Computer skills (Office/Outlook) A driver's license is a requirement because the work involves transporting and moving sports and leisure equipment between our different locations. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Other Information Selection and interviews take place continuously during the application period.
