Meals is a service sector operation in Ulricehamns kommun. Our mission is to serve meals to all preschool and school students as well as to people assessed for financial assistance in special accommodations, group homes, or their own residences. Today there are 34 kitchens included in our food service operations.

JOB DUTIES
As a pool chef, you will have varied and responsible work performing all common tasks in a large-scale kitchen. This includes meal preparation, serving, dishwashing, quality control, and ordering. One day you work independently in a preschool kitchen, and the next day you are part of a kitchen team in a larger commercial kitchen.
You will work across all of Ulricehamns kommun, which means you need to be flexible and able to step in at different kitchens on short notice. The position is primarily located on weekdays, but weekend shifts may occur. Work-related travel is by your own vehicle and is reimbursed according to current mileage allowance.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a trained chef or has other relevant education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience working in large-scale kitchens or restaurants and solid knowledge of food hygiene. The position requires a Class B driver's license and access to your own vehicle.
As a person, you are self-directed, flexible, and confident in taking your own initiative. You have a strong service focus, can handle a high pace, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues. You are communicative, responsible, and contribute to a positive work environment through your loyalty and good teamwork skills.
In Ulricehamns kommun, we see multilingualism as an asset and welcome diversity among our employees. However, to succeed in this role, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
