About the position As an Applications Specialist (Physical Security), you will be part of the Preparedness and Security Applications unit. Together, you will manage application operations and support for several critical applications and systems at Svenska kraftnät. You will play a central role in ensuring that applications and systems within physical security have high availability and function as intended for users. Your contribution will have a direct impact on a societally critical operation where you together secure Sweden's energy supply. In this role, you will participate in operations-related activities with a focus on delivery collaboration with other IT teams, such as server and network teams, as well as external suppliers. Together, you will ensure that systems maintain the right availability and quality. This is an operations-focused role that requires you to see the bigger picture and understand relationships within IT infrastructure. You will become the unit's technical expert in the field and will be able to put your mark on working methods with the aim of driving both change and improvement work. In collaboration with colleagues, you will also contribute to business development within application management and development. Key responsibilities: Incident management and problem-solving: Analyze, resolve, and document incidents and problems. Act as specialist: Be the primary contact for system-specific questions and share your expertise internally. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Support users in the business: Ensure technical business support and assist with user-facing technical questions. Implement changes and improvements: Configure and adapt applications, drive development and improvement work, and lead cross-functional activities. Document and specify technical requirements: Ensure current system documentation and prepare materials for reporting, changes, and decisions. Ensure IT security, high availability, and quality: Meet high demands for IT security and robustness according to applicable governance documents and processes. Environmental monitoring: Follow technical developments, relevant threat landscapes, and innovations in the field. The Preparedness and Security Applications unit consists of management leaders, system managers, applications specialists, and system developers. In addition to playing an important role within the unit, as an applications specialist you will also support other units, which means you will work broadly across different business areas. About you Mandatory requirements: We are looking for someone who is confident and stable and finds it easy to build relationships both internally and externally. You also have relevant academic education from a university/college or equivalent competence acquired in another way that Svenska kraftnät deems equivalent.
