Sturegymnasiet is seeking a part-time physical education teacher for adapted upper secondary school for the 2026/2027 school year, with a possible opportunity for extension. Your Responsibilities As a physical education teacher, you will be responsible for teaching physical education and health to students in adapted upper secondary school, national programs, and upper secondary school/GL. Your role includes planning, conducting, and following up on instruction based on students' different conditions and needs. You will work to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where students are given the opportunity to develop according to their individual conditions. Your work includes: Planning and conducting instruction in physical education and health. Adapting instruction based on students' individual conditions, needs, and abilities. Creating a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment. Following up on and evaluating students' learning and development. Documenting instruction and students' knowledge development according to the organization's procedures. Collaborating with colleagues and other staff regarding students' learning and development. Contributing to collegial collaboration on the planning and implementation of instruction. Working in accordance with current guidelines and the school's pedagogical principles. Your Qualifications To be qualified for this position, you should have: A teacher's degree that provides authorization to teach physical education and health. Teacher certification with authorization to teach physical education and health. Strong ability to plan, conduct, and follow up on instruction. Strong ability to adapt instruction to students' different conditions and needs. Good collaboration skills and ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues. It is particularly valuable if you have: Experience teaching at the upper secondary level. Experience teaching in adapted upper secondary school. Experience individualizing instruction in physical education and health. Experience working with students with various forms of disabilities. Personal Competencies You have an enabling leadership style where you create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment that gives each student the conditions to develop according to their individual needs. You also possess good collaboration skills through close cooperation with colleagues and other staff regarding students' learning and development. You are flexible and adapt instruction to students' different conditions, needs, and daily situations.
