The Technology and Property Management Department is responsible for the municipality's technical operations. This includes, for example, construction, infrastructure development and maintenance. You will work closely with colleagues in Infrastructure, Outdoor Environments, as well as Vehicles and Storage. The Land Construction Department consists of approximately 35 employees. 1 position(s). WORK RESPONSIBILITIES As a facilities pipefitter, you will work with, among other things: • Installation of new water and sewage lines. • Operation, maintenance and repair of water and sewage lines. • Troubleshooting and addressing water and sewage leaks. • Excavation and backfill work in connection with water and sewage work. • Reading and understanding drawings, work descriptions and other technical documentation. • Measurement, inspection and documentation of completed work. • Contact and collaboration with clients, contractors and other operations within the municipality. You will be part of a work team with pipefitters, excavator operators and truck drivers who together carry out various tasks within the operational area. On-call duties may be included in the position. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with experience working in the construction and infrastructure industry, preferably with experience in water and sewage systems and pipefitting. As a facilities pipefitter, collaboration within the work team is crucial to achieving good and sustainable results. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is practical, responsible and solution-oriented and who enjoys working together with others. You need to be able to follow instructions, drawings and procedures, but also be able to take your own initiative when the situation requires it. You have an eye for quality and safety and ensure that work is done correctly from the start. To succeed in this role, you need: • Category B driver's license. • Good ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues. • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. • Practical skills and ability to solve problems that arise in daily work. • Good understanding of workplace environment and safety. Meritorious Qualifications It is an advantage if you have: Professional experience in water and sewage operations, water and sewage infrastructure and pipefitting. Machine operation experience, for example with excavators or wheel loaders, as well as experience operating jetting trucks and a Category C driver's license. Relevant education or certifications in water and sewage systems, construction and infrastructure, workplace environment, traffic safety or machinery and safety work.
