About the Operation
The Operating Department at Sundsvall Hospital has 15 operating rooms with associated preparation rooms and a sterilization central. The department also has a hybrid operating room. We are a county hospital with 24/7 operations and specialize in orthopedics, surgery, otolaryngology, obstetrics/gynecology, and urology. Currently, we have a total of 78 positions consisting of nursing assistants, operating room nurses, and anesthesia nurses.
We are now seeking two anesthesia nurses for permanent full-time employment in the Operating Department in Sundsvall, start date by agreement.
Responsibilities
As an anesthesia nurse, you are responsible for anesthetizing, maintaining anesthesia, and awakening patients undergoing surgery, based on orders from the anesthesiologist.
You work closely with the anesthesiologist and function as part of a team in the operating room together with the operating room nurse and nursing assistant.
You must be able to quickly switch between planned operations and acute situations that may arise.
On-call duty and transport readiness will be part of your responsibilities over time.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
Is a licensed nurse with further education as an anesthesia nurse
Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
It is a merit if you:
Have good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
