About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now seeking more employees. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation services, remand facilities, and prisoner transport. The Statistics Section is part of the Management Office. The section consists of 18 employees and the main mission is to operate and develop the authority's statistics activities and digitalization of the authority's monitoring solutions. The work includes producing various types of analyses and statistical publications to contribute to a transparent and knowledge-driven prison and probation service. The section assists external stakeholders with the delivery of statistics and analyses. The section is also tasked with managing the administration in the field of management and monitoring. The work aims to contribute with information for decision-making and improved analytical capacity, as well as to support efficient and quality-assured operations management. This includes, among other things, supporting the organization with making operations monitoring accessible by driving the development of statistics systems/BI solutions. Job Description As an analyst with a focus on digitalization, you are responsible for operations-related administration and drive digitalization in the field. This includes, among other things, identifying and compiling the organization's needs. The work also includes coordinating, prioritizing, and planning activities in the short and long term, as well as leading, managing, and following up on the work. You drive digitalization efforts in close dialogue with the responsible stakeholder and in collaboration with experts in the organization and within digitalization. Possible work locations for the position are Norrköping, Stockholm, Örebro, or Malmö.
