NATIONAL MENTAL HEALTH CENTER, State SIA (Reg.no.50003342481) invites you to join our team Inpatient Services Department Substance Use Treatment Division Tvaika iela 2, Riga OUTPATIENT SERVICE PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT (for an indefinite period on a part-time basis) (profession code 2240 02) Your main responsibilities: Provide professional support to physicians in the care of addiction medicine patients. Perform patient examinations, data collection, and health status assessments. Work as part of a team in collaboration with physicians, ensuring continuous medical assistance to patients. Follow treatment plans and document changes in patients' health status. Participate in educating patients and their relatives on health recovery and maintenance. Adhere to all safety and confidentiality standards when working with sensitive information. Cooperate with other NPVC specialists on patient rehabilitation matters. We are looking for a colleague with: First-level professional higher education. Obtained outpatient service physician assistant certification. Knowledge of mental disorder diagnosis and treatment principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with patients and colleagues. Experience working as a physician assistant with outpatient patients. Ability to remain calm and maintain a professional approach in stressful situations. Knowledge of the state language in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Latvia. We offer: Stable and regular salary - 1660.00 EUR (gross) for full-time position. Normal working hours - 20 hours per week (daytime work). Allowance for workplace environmental risk factors - 12%.
