Starting October 1, 2026, Falck will also operate ambulance services for Region Skåne. Effective October 1, 2026, Falck takes over ambulance operations in Skåne District 2 (Eslöv, Hörby, Höör, Löddeköpinge, Lund, Sjöbo, Skurup, and Ystad). As an ambulance paramedic at Falck's ambulance operations, you will experience an exciting and varied environment where you, together with a nurse, may be the first on scene at an accident and collaborate with police, rescue services, and emergency physicians. You are responsible for operating the ambulance during emergency response and ensuring that correct equipment is always in place so you can perform your duties in a patient-safe manner.
Qualifications:
Trained ambulance paramedic
At least 2 years of professional experience
C1 driver's license with good driving experience and local knowledge
Good physical ability as heavy patient lifting occurs, and able to swim 200 meters in any swimming style
Good Swedish in speech and writing
Meritorious:
Prehospital Care Management (PS)
Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)
Experience from acute care, prehospital care, or emergency department
As a person, you are confident and stable in your professional role with good judgment in acute situations. You are a team player who values good cooperation with colleagues and other healthcare providers, and you always treat patients and relatives in a respectful and trustworthy manner. The recruitment process includes several steps, including interview, physical test, and driving test. We also conduct background checks including inspection by IVO/SoS and extract from the police's criminal record registry.
