About the job
We are seeking 1-2 hourly-paid teaching assistants who, as needed and by agreement, will assist course instructors in courses within construction materials. Work tasks may include lecture instruction, preparation for laboratory sessions, supervision during laboratory work, and grading of reports.
The scope of work tasks and start date will be determined by agreement.
About you
To be employed as a teaching assistant, you must be admitted to a higher education program at the basic or advanced level.
The employment is directly linked to the foundational courses in construction materials offered by the Division of Construction Materials at Linköping University.
It is meritorious if you are studying at Linköping University at the advanced level and if you can demonstrate documented good subject knowledge in the areas covered by the relevant courses. It is also an advantage if you have experience with previous teaching and if you are available for assignments during the academic year 2026-2027.
The work tasks are varied and may arise on short notice, which requires flexibility and availability at the university. You should be responsible, thorough, have pedagogical skills, and be interested in the subject area.
Your workplace
The Division of Construction Materials is located at the Department of Economic and Industrial Development and belongs to the School of Engineering. The division has a substantial undergraduate teaching mission that includes instruction in multiple educational programs at Linköping University.

Employment as a teaching assistant is regulated in Chapter 5 of the Higher Education Ordinance.
