Welcome to apply for a job with us! About the job We are seeking a teaching assistant to support the course module Cybersecurity for Business. Cybersecurity for Business introduces students to cybersecurity from a business and organizational perspective. The course module covers central concepts in cybersecurity, threats and risks, security measures, risk management and governance, with a particular focus on how cybersecurity affects organizations and their operations. The work involves supporting the development and implementation of the course module. Your tasks may include: Assisting in the development, supervision, and evaluation of laboratory exercises, assignments, and projects, Supporting students with questions regarding laboratory exercises, projects, and other course activities, Assisting the course instructor/teacher with preparations and administration of teaching activities, and Other related tasks based on the needs of the course module. About you To be employed as a teaching assistant, you must be admitted to a higher education program at the basic or advanced level. We are looking for someone with relevant knowledge and an interest in cybersecurity. We want you to have: Relevant knowledge or experience in cybersecurity or information security. Good command of English, both spoken and written. It is meritious if you have: Previous experience with teaching, laboratory exercises, student projects, or supervision. Ongoing studies at Linköping University. Your workplace The Department of Computer Science (IDA) was founded in 1983, but our roots go back to the early 1970s. It is one of the largest computer science departments in Northern Europe. Our research covers a broad spectrum of areas, from fundamental computer science to applied fields. The extensive research also influences our undergraduate and graduate education, leading us to offer courses in several civil and engineering programs, as well as programs in innovative programming, cognitive science, and statistics. Start date by agreement. Employment as a teaching assistant is regulated in Chapter 5 of the Higher Education Ordinance. Salary and benefits Salary according to LiU's central agreement on teaching assistant salary. The current teaching assistant salary at Linköping University is 26,350 SEK per month for full-time work.
