No. LV40003439279 PAYROLL ACCOUNTANT FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Process payroll calculations in the accounting software based on pre-prepared documents intended for numerical processing and ensure proper entries of salary payments, deductions, and payroll taxes to appropriate accounts; Monitor employee electronic sick leave documents, input sick leave absences in the accounting software; Ensure the use of MicroStrategy data analysis tools in piece-rate salary calculations, verify that piece-rate calculation conditions comply with internal regulations, and be able to explain calculations to employees; Based on submitted justification documents (orders, requests), ensure correct calculation of other deductions from employee salaries, conduct necessary communication with bailiffs within the scope of your competence; Prepare calculated payroll payment lists and ensure salary transfers to employee accounts; Process compensation calculations according to conditions specified in company contracts, prepare payment lists; Prepare reports related to calculated salaries for the State Revenue Service, Central Statistical Bureau, and other information upon request; REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES: secondary specialized, incomplete higher, or higher education in accounting; previous work experience as an accountant with payroll calculation responsibilities, minimum 2 years; good understanding of financial accounting and the Republic of Latvia tax system in payroll calculations; knowledge of wage and withheld tax calculation, entry, and reporting; state language proficiency according to applicable Republic of Latvia regulations; good computer skills: word processing, ability to work with spreadsheets (Excel, etc.), use email, internet browsers, work in Windows environment, as well as specialized information systems (Horizon); ability to consistently and rationally organize your work; WE OFFER: monthly salary of 1823.00 EUR before tax; perform duties within normal working hours from 8.00-16.30; significant discounts for city public transportation; car parking spaces in the city center for a symbolic fee; health insurance policy after 6 months of service; professional and responsive colleagues; a workplace where medical history intertwines with cutting-edge technology – a dynamic and development-oriented work environment in the city center.
