Do you want to use your actuarial expertise in a role where your analyses and calculations make a difference for millions of people's pensions? We are now seeking an actuary who wants to contribute to qualified actuarial investigations and calculations within the premium pension system. The Swedish Pensions Agency is the insurance provider for Sweden's largest insurance operation – the premium pension – with 8.5 million insured and capital of 3,000 billion. In addition to the fund insurance, the Swedish Pensions Agency has a traditional insurance offered during the pension period, where we manage capital of 100 billion kronor for 400,000 pensioners. The Swedish Pensions Agency's actuaries are responsible for developing assumptions and performing calculations that affect pensions paid out today and in the future. About the job Your work tasks will mainly consist of conducting analyses and calculations of, among other things, reserves and cash flows. You will perform reporting and contribute to the development of our pension and insurance products, primarily within the premium pension. The position also includes calculations and statistical analyses beyond traditional actuarial work. An important part of the work is also to provide information about the products, both in writing and orally, including internationally. The role is part of the Capital Management and Actuarial Unit, which is organizationally placed within the Analysis Department. Collaboration across organizational boundaries is a central part of the role. You report to the unit manager. Your profile We are looking for you who have: Academic degree in actuarial science, mathematics, mathematical statistics, engineering physics or equivalent, preferably with courses in actuarial mathematics. Very good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English. It is meritorious if you have: Knowledge of the Swedish pension system, particularly the premium pension. Experience in actuarial work, for example in life insurance, occupational pensions, government operations or equivalent. Good knowledge of actuarial issues and calculations in life or pension insurance. Good skills in R and SQL or equivalent programs/languages.
