Do you want to contribute to effective crime prevention through an expert role at the Prosecutor Authority? We are now seeking a prosecutor auditor to contribute to the Prosecutor Authority's mission to investigate and prosecute crimes and limit criminals' criminal proceeds.
Your responsibilities
As a prosecutor auditor at the National Unit Against Organized Crime, based in Göteborg, you will have an expert role primarily in asset forfeiture matters, money laundering, and financial investigations. You will be a resource for the entire National Unit Against Organized Crime, but you may also work with other national units that are part of the National Prosecutor Division.
You will enter criminal investigations at an early stage and are expected, under the direction of the prosecutor, to lead and evaluate police work in criminal investigations within these areas. You will assist the prosecutor at detention hearings and main proceedings in court and also work with various types of forfeiture, such as independent forfeiture, asset forfeiture, extended forfeiture, and forfeiture under money laundering legislation.
The position also includes assignments as a trainer, work with business development, and cooperation with other agencies. The position involves travel primarily within Sweden, but travel abroad may also occur.
Your qualities and qualifications
We are looking for you who
have a degree from economics or legal higher education or higher education that the Prosecutor Authority deems relevant
have experience working with investigation and examination of economic crime, asset investigation, asset forfeiture matters, or equivalent within, for example, the justice system, the Swedish Customs Agency, the Swedish Tax Agency, or the Enforcement Authority, or alternatively have experience with investigation of economic crime, money laundering, or similar from the private sector
have good IT skills and master especially Excel and PowerPoint, or equivalent programs.

About the position
The position is a permanent position with a 6-month probationary period.
The position is classified as requiring security clearance, which includes a background check.
