The Prosecutor's Office in Uppsala is seeking a prosecutor trainee.
Your Responsibilities
The Swedish Prosecution Authority is looking for someone who wants to play a central role in crime prevention. As a prosecutor, you will apply legal knowledge in theory and practice with significant personal responsibility and in collaboration with others.
As a prosecutor trainee, you will work with all aspects of criminal cases at a general prosecutor's office. You will lead preliminary investigations, make decisions on prosecution matters, and conduct proceedings in court.

Your Qualities and Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a Swedish citizen with a Nordic law degree. Upon taking up the position of prosecutor trainee, you must also have your notary qualification from a district or administrative court.

The Selection Process
During your time as a prosecutor trainee, you will have a fixed-term employment of 9-12 months. After that, you will be offered a permanent position.
Before an employment offer, the Swedish Prosecution Authority may conduct record checks in the suspicion register and the criminal record register. The record check is conducted on the final candidate.
Tests are included in the recruitment process.
