On behalf of our client, we are now seeking a Business Controller for a housing company in Stockholm. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start 2026-10-01 and run through 2027-01-31, with the possibility of extension for 6 months.
About the assignment
As a Business Controller, you will have an operations-focused role with a focus on financial monitoring, analysis, and management. You will work closely with managers and operations and contribute with financial insights to support both ongoing and forward-looking decisions.
The assignment includes monitoring and analyzing financial results, data, and the company's key drivers, as well as developing budgets, forecasts, and forward-looking analyses. You identify deviations, risks, and opportunities and assess what financial consequences these may have.
An important part of the role is to translate financial information into clear conclusions and usable decision-making materials. You support managers and operations through analyses, advice, and calculations, and report and present the financial situation, developments, and goal achievement. You also monitor implemented measures and their effects.
In the assignment, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of working methods for financial monitoring and analysis, as well as the development of systems and digital support.
Other details: Start: 2026-10-01 End: 2027-01-31 Scope: 100% Placement: Stockholm, with possibility for certain remote work. Employment form: Employed by Devotum as the customer does not accept subcontractors in this process.
About you
We are looking for you who meet the following mandatory requirements:
Higher education in economics or equivalent.
At least three years of experience in qualified controller work, financial management, or operations-focused financial work from the real estate sector.
Strong knowledge of financial monitoring, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
Ability to analyze results and other data as well as understand and identify financial and operational drivers.
Experience in developing decision-making materials and translating financial information into concrete conclusions and recommendations.
Very good Excel skills and experience working with financial data and digital analysis and reporting tools.
It is considered a merit if you also meet the following requirements:
Experience in developing working methods, monitoring, or digital support for financial management is a merit.
