The Department of Chemistry within the Life Sciences is geographically located at the Biomedical Center in Uppsala. Here, our university conducts its principal research in biochemistry, organic chemistry, and analytical chemistry. Duties
You will assist the department management with administrative tasks such as document preparation and organization, booking and administration of travel and collaborations, helping with administrative work for teaching, contact with companies regarding deliveries and orders, proofreading of Swedish and English texts, gathering documentation, managing access, and communication work.
You will be an important part of the department's support operations, and in your group there are 6 colleagues working with finance, HR matters, course administration, and other administrative functions.
Qualifications
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English. Good experience with the Office suite and very good computer and internet skills. Very great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability such as social competence and high service orientation for well-functioning collaboration. It is important that you are thorough and flexible in helping with what is needed.
Desirable/Meriting Qualifications
Desirable to have knowledge of graphic software such as Paint and Adobe CS2. We would like to see that you have some experience from the higher education/university sector.
