Job responsibilities:
- Providing activities within preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitation care in the field of substance abuse and addiction prevention and treatment,
- Providing individual or family-based professional addiction counseling,
- Supporting clients during the change process, collaborating with clients on risk prevention, supporting the development of client competencies,
- Conducting comprehensive addiction diagnostics without physician referral,
- Conducting analysis and assessment of health and social situation, including consideration of broader contexts and impacts on the client's personal, family, and wider situation, recommending follow-up care,
- Providing professional support to family members and close persons,
- Organizing and facilitating self-help group activities for the target population,
- Providing aftercare activities for individuals after addiction treatment and support during outpatient treatment,
- Preparing professional reports, liaising with partner organizations,
- Maintaining client work records,
- Participating in methodological, client-focused, and organizational meetings of the implementation team,
- Participating in professional training and supervision.
Requirements:
- Professional qualification to practice as an addiction specialist according to § 21a of Act No. 96/2004 Coll.,
- Clean criminal record, health fitness, and clarified relationship to drugs and drug users,
- Communication skills, ability to empathize and build relationships,
- Reliability, responsibility, ability to work in a team and independently,
- PC skills,
- An advantage: previous volunteer work or employment experience in addiction services or other social services, completed or ongoing psychotherapy training.
