We are driving the transition to a sustainable energy system. About the Role We are seeking an Accounting Professional for our Record to Report (R2R) team within Vattenfall Finance Business Support. R2R is the central function for accounting expertise within the Vattenfall Group, with a strong focus on quality and regulatory compliance. The team is responsible for ongoing bookkeeping, statutory reporting (IFRS and local GAAP), financial reports, and external audits. We continually develop and optimize our processes. Your Tasks and Responsibilities • You are responsible for general ledger activities in accordance with legal requirements and internal standards, following IFRS and statutory accounting rules • You act as a trusted accounting professional and collaborate closely with our internal accounting experts and internal teams, auditors, and external service providers, including our business process outsourcing partner • You drive monthly and annual closings and ensure that deadlines are met • You prepare financial reports and annual reports for legal entities and manage the entire reporting process and external audit process • You maintain high standards of service quality, accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance in all accounting activities • You participate in improvement work together with process experts and contribute to cross-functional projects Requirements • Experience working with SAP (FI/S4) and MS Office products • Experience with group reporting and intra-group flows • University degree in accounting, economics, or equivalent education with good knowledge of IFRS and Swedish accounting legislation • 3–5 years of experience in ongoing accounting and statutory reporting, preferably within a complex organization or group • Solid understanding of the entire accounting process, especially financial closing and reporting • Experience with the Annual Report software Capego For you to thrive in this role, we see that you are a solution-oriented and responsible person who works in a structured and thorough manner.
