JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a vehicle technician, you ensure that all vehicles are safe, accessible, and in good condition. Maintenance operations include functions for preparation and planning, spare parts and procurement, as well as instructions and testing.
You'll be part of a committed team of vehicle technicians who together are responsible for maintenance and availability in operations. Work is conducted in three shifts, meaning you work day, evening, and night shifts according to schedule.
Everyone is mobile and you have your workplace at the depot in Ulvsunda.

As a vehicle technician, you will:
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on our streetcars
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and technical systems
• Conduct inspections, tests, and functional testing
• Document completed work according to applicable procedures
• Collaborate with planning, preparation, and other support functions
• Contribute to continuous improvements in safety, quality, and accessibility
QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in this role, you have:
Good technical understanding and problem-solving ability.
We believe you have three years of high school education with a focus on electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
You also have good knowledge of Swedish and English, good IT skills, and a B driver's license.
It is advantageous if you have:
• Experience from the vehicle industry
• Experience troubleshooting electrical or mechanical systems
• Experience from rail transportation, industry, or other safety-critical operations
As a person, you are responsible, have high awareness of safety, and are accustomed to following procedures and instructions. You have a good ability to remain calm even when unexpected situations arise. You have good judgment and experience assessing situations and adapting your actions accordingly with good results. You enjoy collaborating with your colleagues and maintaining contact with other functions at the depot.

Saltsjöbanan, with roots dating back to 1893. Today, train service runs between Saltsjö-Järla and Saltsjöbaden/Solsidan.
