About the Company Wenmec, just north of Karlstad, is a modern manufacturing facility where advanced welding, machining, and assembly come together in a high-tech environment with a focus on quality and teamwork. The company is a stable international operator supplying industries such as defense, mining, and marine. They grow steadily and continuously invest in both technology and employees. Here you become part of a tight-knit team where you'll develop, take responsibility, and build a long-term career. The culture is inclusive and grounded, with a focus on well-being, development, and pride in your work. Get in touch with us, and we'll arrange for you to visit the workplace! Your Responsibilities The tasks in the welding department have a broad scope, encompassing both manual and robotic welding, and are subject to ISO 3834-2 and ISO 5817, meaning that quality and precision are central to the company's thinking in all operations, regardless of welding method. The welding workshop is modernly equipped with a number of robust welding tables and modern positioning devices for workpieces up to 5 tons. The workshop is also equipped with several welding robots and set up for qualified joint preparation. As a welder, you work independently to build according to drawings and without fixtures. The job involves reading drawings, measuring, tack welding, and finishing welds with great precision. The items are both large and small, and batch sizes range from small to single-piece production. This means you have the opportunity to take responsibility and develop as a welder. You participate in continuous improvement, 5S, and other LEAN activities. Shift work occurs. Your Profile We're looking for someone with recent welding training or who already works as a welder today, but wants to develop and take more responsibility. We believe you're someone who likes taking responsibility, maintains high quality, and enjoys taking your own initiative when you see something can be improved. You're reliable, work in a structured manner, and thrive in an environment where people help each other and where ego doesn't get in the way of doing a really good job together. You should be able to read WPS documents and drawings and plan your own work (MIG/MAG and TIG). Forklift and gantry crane certifications as well as computer skills are advantageous. Are you the one we're looking for? Contact us at Industrisupport, and we'll answer your questions. Selection is ongoing, so don't delay your application. Welcome!
