3 Care Workers - Sjöarp Group Housing Fixed-Term Position

Cura Individutveckling is a municipal federation with the county's municipalities as members. Our mission is to operate activities where municipalities see benefits from coordinated efforts. Sjöarp Group Housing is tasked with meeting member municipalities' needs for placements of adults with autism and complex support needs. Sjöarp offers integrated housing with daily activities in a calm and secure environment just outside Bräkne-Hoby. Sjöarp Group Housing has a total of 13 residential places distributed across 5 homes. The client population is diverse. Some require extensive personal care, while you may also work with higher-functioning autism. We are now seeking three employees who can temporarily strengthen staffing as a new client moves in. 3 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a care worker, you support clients with personal care and meaningful daily activities and leisure time. You accompany the client throughout the day, including during daily activities where engagement is adapted to the client's individual needs and abilities. To create security for clients, we use clear visual communication based on TEACCH pedagogy, along with low-arousal interaction and MI. QUALIFICATIONS We want candidates with relevant post-secondary education in behavioral science, social work, or education, or alternatively relevant upper secondary education such as health and care or children and leisure with a focus on educational and social work. Experience from similar work is a merit. Experience working with individuals with self-harming behavior and aggressive behavior is also valuable. The role requires you to have a calm and reassuring demeanor and strong collaboration skills. Quality assurance work and documentation require clear communication skills in speech and writing, as well as computer proficiency. You must hold a B driving license (manual) and provide a clean criminal background check. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Fixed-term contract. Duration: 3-6 months, start date: 2026-09-30 or by agreement, continuous selection, ends: 2027-02-28. Working hours: Scheduled shifts.
