We are now seeking a Senior Social Worker for one of three investigation units within social services support in the Social Services Department Center. The unit consists of 16 social workers, one social administrator, two senior social workers, and one unit manager. Here there is great dedication to social work and a desire to continuously develop. About the role As a Senior Social Worker, you have a central role in the unit's daily operations. You support the social workers through mentoring, guidance, and contributing your expertise in both daily work and complex cases. You work closely with the team and help create structure, quality, and security. In this role, you will mentor and provide methodological support to social workers in case handling. You will prioritize and support during high workloads. You will participate as support in difficult conversations and meetings. Your work also includes ensuring lawful case processing, good documentation, and professional conduct. You will work on developing procedures and working methods together with other senior social workers in the department. You need to stay updated on legislation, case law, and current research. You will participate in social committee meetings and represent the social board in the Administrative Court. The role also involves collaborating with both internal and external partners. This is a role for you if you enjoy combining qualified social work with mentoring, development, and collaboration. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and several years of experience working with social services support. You have excellent knowledge of current legislation and feel confident in both case law and the processes that govern work within social services support and administrative law. It is a merit if you have previously held a management or coordinating role.
